I was tasked with creating a poster to advertise the opening night of the play, Julius Caesar. My main objective was to convey the entropy and tragedy of the play. To accomplish this, I made a set of 3 posters, with each one viewing those aspects in a different way.
F+W Media Magazines:
While working at F+W Media, I was responsible for the page layout and prepress work that spanned across multiple magazines publications, including InterweaveCrochet, Handwoven, Spin-Off, Little Looms, and Cloth Paper Scissors.
Auto Show Promotional:
Ken Kafka hosts an large, antique auto show each year to display his collection and asked me to make a poster for the event. The poster is inspired by gas and oil can graphics from the 40s and 50s.
Lesher Ed-venture Logo:
Lesher Middle School asked me come up with a logo for their new discovery program. They wanted it to be something that looked cool and adventurous.
Scarlett Disband Album Cover:
A few years ago, a local band asked me to come up with an album cover for them. Since the inspiration behind their music is abstract and alternative, I visually matched that feel in form and color.
Immortal Mounts logo:
Immortal Mounts is an up-and-coming taxidermy shop that asked me to create a logo for them. They wanted it to be something simple that had a Western frontier feeling to it.
Fireworks Postcard:
As part of their summer outreach program, Living Hope Community Church hosted a fireworks event and asked me to come up with a postcard for them. Since it was a 4th of July event, I used patriotic colors and shapes.
Book Jacket:
I was tasked with creating a book jacket for the story of Bartleby the Scrivener. My goal was to take a classic work and give it a modern look by using visuals that are analogous to the story's setting and tone.
VOTR Event Adverts:
While working at Vineyard of the Rockies, I was tasked with designing advertisements for upcoming events. The design would initially start as a Power Point slide and then the information would be reconfigured to fit bathroom ads, invitation cards, and full-page counter displays.
Waste Management 2116 Rebrand:
In this conceptual project, I took an existing business (Waste Management) and created a futuristic rebrand campaign for it. The major part of this rebrand that really drove the concept home was the series of 4 full-page ads.
Upper Stem Brewery Logo:
Upper Stem is a small brewery that asked me to come up with a logo for them. They wanted it to be something simple with a farm-grown, country feel to it.
Imago Branding:
I was tasked with creating an imaginary brand out of a need that I saw. My brand, Imago, is an app-based search engine that can find any location or object just by scanning an image. The end goal for me was to create an identity that appealed to both a tech and photo audience.
